Drip Tray Design
Creteel has developed a drip tray layout and its corresponding support frame to safely handle water seepage at one of London's oldest and busiest railway junctions, on behalf of our delivery partner, BSSL. Timber Floor & Honeycomb Wall Design
Creteel completed the detailed design for the timber flooring at Melderth station's ticket office. This design was carried out following a detailed structural survey by one of our senior consultants. The project scope included the designing of timber flooring and a honeycomb wall, along with its foundation. We worked closely with our delivery partner, the Balfour Beatty Eastern team, to deliver the design on time.

Wheel Timber Holding Down Design-Elmer's End
Creteel Ltd has successfully executed the holding down design for a timber wheel bridge on Elmer's End Road, close to Eden Park station, for our delivery partners Rhomberg Sersa and BSSL. Our holding down design helped both the fabricator and installation contractor, enabling them to complete the project in record time.
As a reward for our effort, we have been entrusted with additional design work for wheel timber holding down.

Mono Pile Design for CCTV & Flood Light Mast
Creteel has delivered design forms A and B for monopiles, to support monitoring camera masts (CCTV cameras) and lighting masts at one of the most active level crossings, Mount Pleasant, in Southampton, UK.
This project underlines Creteel's capacity to effectively collaborate with mast vendors, signalling engineers, electrical engineers, piling contractors, steelwork fabricators and Balfour's Eastern team, all within the established schedule and budget.
The project also included maintenance work related to UTX, palisade gate foundations, and guard rail foundations. Creteel's distinctive cap plate design allowed the contractor to proceed with the mast installation directly after the monopile installation.

AFC Readiness Review, Quantity Survey & CAD Service
Creteel was awarded a contract for the material take off and fabrication readiness review of wheel timber bridge holding down cleats, ECM 1/12 Down Slow Line, near Arsenal station, UK. This contract was awarded by our delivery partners, Taziker and BSSL.
By using Sharp3D to model each cleat, Creteel was able to identify crucial fabrication constraints and proposed a solution that simplified the fabrication and installation on site. Due to our thorough review and collaboration, we have been granted the contract for the fabrication drawing production of wheel timber holding down cleats for the entire bridge.

Ipswich Station Platform 3, Coper, Tarmac & Drainage Design
Creteel has supplied Form A and Form B design services for Ipswich station's Platform 3 civil works, to our delivery partners YGRail, #tecs, and Branbrook Ltd. The design scope includes tasks such as copper realignment works, bespoke brackets to support copper oversail (> 150mm), the introduction of new concrete tactile works, platform crossfall compliance checks, new surface drainage design, and a newly designed platform surface. Timber RRAP Design
Creteel has once again delivered another Form H design project for a concrete apron associated with an RRAP at Euston for #hs2 via YGRail. Our innovative approach enabled the simultaneous installation of a Steel T-section and the casting of the concrete apron. Get in touch with us to learn more!

Slab Track Design
Creteel delivered a foundational design for Taziker, supporting their sustainability goal by repurposing decommissioned train carriages and converting them into a primary school library at Upshire Primary School. Vestibule Design
Creteel delivered the design of the Fire Escape Vestibule at London Bridge station, in collaboration with our delivery partner BSSL. Timber RRAP Design
Creteel has provided temporary work design for Euston RRAP 1 & 2. These temporary timber structures will pave the way for RRV to transport essential supplies to other construction sites. SCS, an HS2 contractor, awarded us the design of Euston RRAP 1 & 2 through YGRail.

Wessex Capital Delivery Projects
Creteel has been appointed as the Design Coordinator and Package Engineer Lead for Balfour Beatty Rail.
Our work portfolio included the design and construction package for on-track plant and pedestrian access points, valued at £1.5M, as well as the installation of 140 platform end anti-trespass fencing and gates across the Wessex region, valued at £1.2M.

2018- 2021
Tyvek Manufacturing Plant
Creteel was engaged early in the detailed design stage of a new Tyvek manufacturing plant in Luxembourg. Our team provided specifications, work instructions, and standard details for steelwork and civil works based on Euro codes. We also developed a detailed design for modular pipe racks that could be transported by road from the fabrication yard to the site.
As a key Contractor, Creteel coordinated with three steelwork subcontractors at the design office. We also visited an overseas operating centre, a steelwork fabricator's yard, and the construction site for coordination meetings. Moreover, Creteel managed a team of engineers and CAD professionals to produce 'Issued for Construction' (IFC) packages for steelwork, pile caps, and other elements.
